Certifications
What is the significance of the seals?
All products are certified according to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is a globally standardised, independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate products, and end products at all processing stages and for accessory materials used. Contract textiles comply with certification class II, which applies to textiles used close to the skin and must meet the second strictest requirements after those for baby clothing.
On request, we also offer all products with organic cotton that are certified according to GOTS/OCS.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world's leading standard for processing textiles made from organically produced natural fibres. It defines high-level environmental requirements along the entire textile production chain and also requires compliance with social criteria.
According to GOTS, only textile products that consist of at least 70% organically produced natural fibres can be certified. All chemical additives, such as dyes and auxiliaries, must fulfil specific environmental and toxicological criteria. Corresponding requirements also apply to the use of accessories. A functional wastewater treatment plant is mandatory for all production facilities involved in wet processing. All processing plants must fulfil minimum social criteria.
Furthermore, all our suppliers are committed to Greenpeace's DETOX program, a commitment that only a few textile manufacturers can manage due to its technical complexity. We prioritise quality over price, fostering partnerships based on mutual respect and collaboration.
